Find your vibe,
meet your tribe,
socially.
Social events for single people across the Western Cape — locals and travellers alike — a warm way to make new connections.
Being single shouldn't mean staying in
The Western Cape is full of people who'd rather be out doing something than scrolling on a Saturday.
Padel, a wine tasting, a hike up Helderberg, a market wander. Come alone or bring a friend. What grows from there is entirely up to you.
The Western Cape
Cape Town, the Winelands, the Overberg, the Garden Route and the West Coast: one province, whether you're going solo or finding your tribe.
One "Must-Do" event a month + weekly pop-ups
A predictable rhythm so it's easy to commit, plus smaller pop-up activities through the week. Quality over volume.
Balanced by activity, not ratio
We don't engineer gender balance — we let the activity set the crowd. Padel and sport draw one crowd, wine and markets another. We alternate on purpose.
How we roll
A few house rules, so everyone knows the vibe before they show up.
Activity-led, not swipe-led
We lead with the activity (padel, a hike, a market), not the singleness. Some members are here purely to socialise, others are open to more. Both are welcome; you tell us which when you join.
Come solo, leave with new connections
Most people come alone the first time, locals and visiting travellers alike. We run a quiet buddy system: DM the admin and we'll pair you with a regular before your first event.
Verified members only
Join through a member vouch or a short verified application, never a public invite link. Trust isn't a feature here, it's the whole ethos.
No pressure, ever
Always ask before a photo, and let introductions happen in their own time. Good old-fashioned manners. RSVPs are a commitment, but life happens; a heads-up is all we ask.
What's coming up, curated weekly
Real events at real venues, each one checked because it's good to walk into alone. Filter by area, category, or distance from you.
Freshly spotted around the Cape
What we're watching but haven't vetted yet, filtered to what's still ahead. The best of it gets pulled into the calendar above.
A circle, not a crowd.
Small enough that names start to matter. Vouched for by a member, or a quick check — and never a charge at the door.
Three steps to your first event
Free to join, admin-verified, no profile photo required. We keep it human on purpose.
Request to join
Fill the short form. First name only is fine, no dating-app profile, no pressure.
We give you the once-over
Vouched for by an existing member, or a quick manual review. One human approves. This keeps the group trustworthy.
You're in — pick an event
We email you a link to the WhatsApp group. Come solo to your first one — most people do.
Under construction
We're still finishing this part. Request-to-join opens shortly. In the meantime, everything on the calendar is open to browse.
